Anthony Nolan
I’m proud to have been a stem cell donor. There’s a 1 in 35,000 chance to being a match to a stranger, a few years ago I was a match for a child in Poland.
It was great to make some films for Anthony Nolan, the charity that makes lifesaving connections between patients in need and strangers ready to donate their stem cells.
Olivia Coleman, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon happily voiced the films gratis, the characters from the films were used across a wider campaign which was nominated for a medical information award which I can’t remember the name of. We never expected to win, we were up against big budget campaigns, it was a nice afternoon though.
I’ve been told that the films were a significant help for the recruitment of donors. So this is life saving animation, come on!
